PROFIL PENGGUNAAN OBAT ANTIBIOTIK SEDIAAN ORAL DI APOTEK MEDIKA SUNGAI PINYUH PERIODE JANUARI – DESEMBER 2023

Abstract

Antibiotik merupakan terapi pilihan utama untuk pengobatan penyakit infeksi, khususnya di negara berkembang. Penggunaan antibiotik yang ditujukan pada kelompok pasien anak sebesar 76%. Hal ini menggambarkan tingginya penggunaan antibiotik pada anak yang memerlukan penanganan khusus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui profil penggunaan antibiotik sediaan oral di Apotek Medika Sungai Pinyuh. Metode yang digunakanmadalah metode survei yang bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan observasi langsung ke Apotek untuk pengumpulan data resep. Hasil penelitian ini dilakukan pada 151 resep sepanjang tahun 2023 dengan kategori usia bayi, balita, dan anak-anak. Dengan persentase terbanyak peresepan pada bulan Mei dan Juli 2023. Terdapat 6 golongan yang diresepkan sepanjang tahun 2023 yaitu penisilin (amoxicillin), makrolida (azithromycin), sefalosporin generasi pertama (cefadroxil), sefalosporin generasi ke-3 (cefixime), fluoroquinolone (levofloxacin), dan sulfonamida (sulfamethoxazole). Dengan sediaan penggunaan antibiotik yang terdiri dari drop suspensi, dry syrup, kapsul, syrup, dan tablet. Dosis penggunaan yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu amoxicillin 3×5 mL (125/5 mL), azithromycin 1×5 mL (200/5mL), cefadroxil 2×5 mL (125/5mL), cefixime 2×5 mL (100/5mL), levofloxacin 1×1 tab (500 mg), sulfamethoxazole 2×5 mL (240/5mL). Untuk lama pemakaian antibiotik tercepat adalah 3 hari dan terlama adalah 14 hari. Kesimpulannya golongan antibiotik yang banyak di resepkan pada pasien anak di Apotek Medika Sungai Pinyuh adalah golongan sefalosporin generasi ke-3 dengan nama zat aktif cefixime sebanyak 114 resep, dengan dosis penggunaan 2×5 mL (100/5ml) sebanyak 42 resep dan untuk lama pemakaian adalah kelas interval 5-6 hari dengan jumlah 70 resep.

Abstract (English)

Antibiotics are the therapy of choice for the treatment of infectious diseases, especially in developing countries. The use of antibiotics aimed at pediatric patient groups amounted to 76%. This illustrates the high use of antibiotics in children that require special handling. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of antibiotic use of oral preparations at Medika Sungai Pinyuh Pharmacy. The method used was a descriptive survey method using direct observation to the pharmacy for prescription data collection. The results of this study were conducted on 151 prescriptions throughout 2023 with the age categories of infants, toddlers, and children. With the highest percentage of prescriptions in May and July 2023. There were 6 groups prescribed throughout 2023, namely penicillin (amoxicillin), macrolide (azithromycin), first generation cephalosporin (cefadroxil), 3rd generation cephalosporin (cefixime), fluoroquinolone (levofloxacin), and sulfonamide (sulfamethoxazole). With the use of antibiotic preparations consisting of drop suspensions, dry syrups, capsules, syrups, and tablets. The most widely used doses were amoxicillin 3×5 mL (125/5 mL), azithromycin 1×5 mL (200/5mL), cefadroxil 2×5 mL (125/5mL), cefixime 2×5 mL (100/5mL), levofloxacin 1×1 tab (500 mg), sulfamethoxazole 2×5 mL (240/5mL). The fastest duration of antibiotic use was 3 days and the longest was 14 days. In conclusion, the class of antibiotics that is widely prescribed to pediatric patients at the Medika Sungai Pinyuh Pharmacy is the 3rd generation cephalosporin class with the name of the active substance cefixime as many as 114 prescriptions, with a usage dose of 2×5 mL (100/5ml) as many as 42 prescriptions and for the duration of use is the interval class 5-6 days with a total of 70 prescriptions.
