UJI HEDONIK PADA SEDIAAN LIP BALM DARI EKSTRAK ETANOL KULIT BUAH TAMPOI SEBAGAI TABIR SURYA

Abstract

Ekstrak kulit buah tampoi mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, fenol, tannin dan saponin. Hal ini membuatnya berpotensi digunakan sebagai tabir surya dalam bentuk sediaan lip balm. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat mutu lip balm ekstrak etanol kulit buah tampoi (Baccaurea macrocrpa) variasi tween 80 dari uji organoleptis dan uji hedonik atau tingkat kesukaan panelis terhadap sediaan lip balm menggunakan metode noneksperimental dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggunakan uji hedonik (uji kesukaan) dan uji organoleptis terhadap sediaan lip balm dari ekstrak etanol kulit buah Tampoi (Baccaurea macrocarpa) variasi tween 80. Hasil lip balm dari uji organoleptis yaitu warna putih kekuningan, tekstur yang lembut, dan aroma khas essens strawberry dan untuk hasil uji hedonik pada parameter warna menunjukkan bahwa panelis lebih menyukai F3 dengan hasil putih kekuningan dengan nilai ratarata 4,63 dengan kriteria sangat suka, dan untuk parameter tekstur panelis lebih menyukai F3 dengan hasil yang lembut dengan nilai rata-rata 4,91 dengan kriteria sangat suka, dan untuk parameter aroma menunjukkan bahwa panelis lebih menyukai F3 dengan hasil aroma khas essens strawberry dengan nilai rata-rata 4,76 dengan kriteria sangat suka.

Abstract (English)

Tampoi fruit peel extract contains secondary metabolite compounds such as alkaloids, flavonoids, phenols, tannins and saponins. This makes it potentially used as a sunscreen in the form of lip balm preparations. The purpose of this study was to see the quality of the results of the organaoleptical test and hedonic test or the level of panelists' liking for lip balm preparations from ethanol extracts of tampoi fruit peel (Baccaurea macrocrpa) using non-experimental methods with a descriptive approach using hedonic tests (preference tests) and organoleptical tests on lip balm preparations from ethanol extracts of Tampoi fruit peel (Baccaureamacrocarpa). The quality results of the organoleptical test are yellowish white color, soft texture, and distinctive aroma of strawberry essences and for the results of the hedonic test on the color parameter showed that the panelists preferred F3 with yellowish white results with an average value of 4.63 with very like criteria, and for the texture parameter the panelists preferred F3 with soft results with an average value of 4.91 with very like criteria, and for the aroma parameter showed that the panelists preferred F3 with the typical aroma of strawberry essences with an average value of 4.76 with very like criteria
